FAREWELL to Janet from ST MARK'S

We welcomed Father STUART SOLEY as our new priest.

Now we say adieu and good luck to our incredible Music Director. Her beautiful mastery over our lovely Harrison Organ has delighted and amazed us. The Wardens join with the parish and choir in wishing her well as she journeys home to her beloved New Zealand.

The celebration of Christ the King will be a fitting setting to a heartfelt marking of Janet all too brief sojourne with us. Janet, may God go with you, to support and keep you and your family safe.

Please note that Fr Stuart Soley was  inducted on Friday 22 July 2011 at 8pm

He celebrated Mass on Sunday 24th July 2011 at 9:30.

Blessing of the animals  Sunday 2nd October after Mass

15 dogs from smallest (Zoe or Gypsy?) to Sally the greyhound; some Jack Russells seemed strangely challenged by feline presence. Most seemed happy meeting other 4 footed friends

one cat called Harvey who was not put out by the other participants

We welcomed the Visit by Bp Lindsay Urwin Saturday 15th October 10:30 -1:30 and as Visiting Preacher on Sunday Mass

Joint Evensong St Philips Collingwood and South Darebin Parish (St Paul's, All Saints & St James the Great)) will join us for Evening Prayer followed by a shared meal. Make a note in your diaries 27th Nov 6:30pm
